So, Alonso blows up/crashes, Schumacher wins takes the championship? It could happen.
With any luck it will do

Fair play, Massa has upped his game in the 2nd half of this season. Barrichello will be raging as he's had shit luck even in a Ferrari around that circuit.

I just hope Alonso makes it through the first few corners in one piece and settles into a rhythm.

wasn't it weird how early they put massa and schumi out of their pits in quali3.. to only have to wait with their engines running at the end of the pit road.. even alonso who came out later looked frustrated - as if the timing was wrong by the circuit marshalls..

I was just waiting for some smoke to come out of one of them.. shame it was michaels and not massa..

Who else remembers when F1 was a real sport with drivers you could go up to and talk to. Not a full of overblown drivers full of their own P**s and importance?
Schumender may have won more races than anyone else but who cares, wheres the skill and passion of the true racer?

Not me. But then I've only been watching for 20 years or so.

if you want to speak to drivers.. then go to a DTM or WRC event.. still very professional but a lot more free access for the fans.

I'm no Schumi fan, but I'm confused by that statement.

Remember Mansell v Piquet at Silverstone 1987 ?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8nGa...&search=mansel

I was among the croud that invaded the track when
Nigel ran out of fuel on the cooling down lap.

Those were the days - 1.5L turbo and ground effects.

Russ.

So, anybody else think Schumachers engine problems were fake and it was just to drop down the grid so he can blast back up again tomorrow, massa to keep alonso at bay and letting his team mate through to bow out on a great win?
