AA seem to offer the best value for money.

As for International - I spoke to AA and they said I would need to phone them as and when I was going abroad, give them the dates i'd be going and what countries i'd be going through.

Based on that, they could arrange suitable cover at a suitable price

The Wife and I went with Green Flag.

Both our cars covered (03 s2000 and 06 Focus) with all bells and whistles (onwards to destination, hotel, paid transport when collecting car etc.) apart from Euro cover.

AA is pricey, I was just lokoing into this too.

The big 3, RAC AA and Green flag are a little pricey as they put the policy on you, the driver, not on the car.

If you are looking for just your car then start with money supermarket...

There are two I am weighing up.
IC Breakdown and Gem.

Not true for Green Flag.

They offer either on the car or on the driver.

It's a lot cheaper on the car and covers anyone driving your car.

I've always been impressed with the AA. Are they still the only ones that cover you rather than the car?
Ah, the power of marketing.

All the big 3 (and no doubt many of the others too) offer driver cover as well as car cover.
