Button / Honda get some flack...
Hmm....
I think next season will be the decider.
Honda made the crucial error of taking their eye off the ball when things were just starting to go their way.
Not only that, they reduced the overall F1 budget too.
Oh, and the guy has his stats wrong - Button won his race in 2006, not 2007
He was also wrong about the S2000 not being as desireable as the MX-5.
But then again, he's a Journalist - talking about things he doesn't do or know about is his job.

All the Honda F1 success talked about in that article was as an engine supplier, so maybe they should have just stuck with that.
Given the reaction by Honda (& BMW) to the latest single engine suggestions for 2010 then Button could well be looking for a new ride after next year. Don't expect there will be a queue of team principals outside his door.

The MX5 is more desirable than the S2000, to hairdressers especially....
But I don't personally like the look of it at all, I see MX5 drivers give a sneaky glance at my S2000 and I think deep down they know they made the wrong decision.
Add to that, the S2000 hasn't had much of a facelift since launch (as it has never really needed it), unlike the MX5...

Even the Turbo version was lacking....

I agree with Dembo - if they aren't in the top 3 manufacturers and at least in the top six by merit alone, I expect the plug will be pulled.
