And don't buy yellow, silver or any other colour.

Red with crema leather (or black if you must) is the way to go IMO.

Anything else is just wrong.
FLY (Ferrari Light Yellow - I think that is what it stands for) is a great colour. My brother has a F355 in one. It crapped the contents of the radiator on a motorway.....

My 355 was totally reliable for the 18 months I had it. I had it as part payment for consultancy services to a garage group so it cost me bugger all.

Its the labour rates that the dealers charge which (as usual) are the cause of much of the regular, relatively high expenditure. You can, of course, be unlucky with major parts failure, and as Gad says these are typically low mileage playthings so buying an older one may introduce some risk.

You can also though do standard work yourself (discs / pads / oil changes etc.) to keep costs down.

As a car...I adored mine - despite the fact that it was a blue targa (that was the only available colour at the time) and there were no more coming into the country.

If you can afford it - it is a fabulous experience. If I was to own another - it would be black, which would attract less attention.

This all makes really good reading - cheers for everyone's contributions.

My only question is, were there many white 360s produced?

I am still tempted

White ones seem to be rather rare though.

I'd be happy with a red one.
