a car for 2012

Satnav is the hard disk iDrive2; only one slot so that will be for audio CDs. Might be worth asking if his Satnav accepts full post code input as destination. You can soon see when you try to enter a destination. If the system accepts the two alpha and two digits but then wants you to select a street by name in alphabetic order, it's not the latest version. BMW charge around £400 to update - but if so, that should knock off a few quid
I think it has the EDC, Power and Stability control button set (pic 7) but I will rtfm to confirm. My convertible had EDC and it was one of three buttons. Clearly I didn't use it much (a) because most roads here are unsuitable and they wouldn't let me on Snetterton and (b) I never got on with the manual box enough to drive it like Fangio.
That fox red is the colour of the aftermath of a good vindaloo supper
Again, money off though
And as Steve says, you need a full tank of hi octane. Not much change from £100 - and he does say 'fully loaded' ... I see it's got half-pimp black windows. The full pimp black fronts aren't strictly legal IIRC?

@Chilled: there are reds and reds! I think Novillo Red is the normal shade. Fox is a brownish shade.
With the EDC option you get 3 buttons, EDC is the middle one, and they also give you a DSC button which, (rtfm) if disabled, helps getting out of snow
All cars have the POWER button which lets you adjust the throttle response amongst Normal, Sport and M-Sport (that'll be you, Mark
) You can change mode either with these buttons or via the M button on the steering wheel plus of course you can personalise your own default values into the iDrive.
@Nottm: I can't understand why those two 'Competition' M3s are over £5k apart. They are identical March '12 cars apart from colour, wheels (but in both cases an equivalent value choice) and 2k miles versus 5k miles, which surely isn't worth £5k! Strange. It looks like this dealer has lots of M3s passing through his hands, let's hope they don't all have the undertray hanging on by a thread
