Looks like I need to get a tracker fitted to the M3. I don't care about tracking the vehicle, so I just want the cheapest to buy, fit and run that are thatcham approved. Any recommendations?

have a look at the clifford blackjax, not exactly a tracker, it allows the thief to drive the car away for a short distance before disabling the car. I think it's about

My car is insured with Liverpool Victoria, who don't require a tracker to be fitted.

Might be worth trying them?

I've had the standard Tracker units on a couple of my cars. Never actually had to use them but they were ok, although much depends on the fitter. Prices here

Avoid Tracker.co.uk like the plague they are shite

I've had nothing but trouble dealing with them

Loads of people on mtorque have had the same experience

Next year i will cancel the subscription & go with someone else
