Default Contract Hire

As some of you will have seen from my thread in o/t, I have been thinking about this option as an alternative to ownership

However, as I've looked at the deals on offer, it only seems to make sense with lower value cars.

Examples:

New Suzuki Swift 1,6 VVT Sport - quite a tidy car for my company secretary
I can lease that for

not missing anything..

checking contract hire prices is often a good way of checking the true cost of the car..

obviously they predict horrible depreciation and running costs..

check out the price of a small engine audi diesel.. it will be cheap as chips in comparison.

We've leased a few times in the past, the trick is to keep an open mind about what you can accept instead of going for a specific model, or length of time.

Car companies seem to be using leasing as a way of churning out certain models, the special offers tend to be for shorter periods, either 12 or 24 months.

For example there were a few of them doing the Civic type R for

it's a good point...

there a some brands who don't like to discount on new prices.. son one way of shifting metal without directly dropping the retail price is via a big lease discount..

I leased a merc for my wife purely on the basis it was cheaper than buying.. since merc were doing the leasing..

Mr Gaddafi

If you want some great deals on CH, please PM me and I'll let you have the contact details of a friend of mine who's a car broker. He has put me, colleagues and numerous friends into some great cars very cheaply.

Be open minded about the type of car and you can pick up some great deals.

Or ....

Just copy and paste the url into your post. It'll automagically set up the necessary codes.

eg: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry13187339

Which is what Shisky's said, but there isn't an http:// button on Fast Reply.
