Corvette C7
lol - woosh parrot if that was sarcasm, but the standard "it's yank so must handle like crap" comment didn't take long - have you not seen how good the C6 is?
Never have seen the issue with the use of plastic...surely it's good for weight...which is pretty handy in a sports car...
This C7 is rather a step on in terms of sophistication from what I've read.
I'm not 100% on the front / side but by god that back end looks good (imh)

However, so rare will be the purchase of one of these over here it's likely that we'll never see one on the road!
The specifications of the new Corvette are very interesting;
- Aluminum space-frame
- Carbon-Nano Composite structure underbody panels bonded to aluminium.
- 6.2L LT1 V8 with 450 hp, 450 lb.-ft. of torque. Direct injection, variable valve timing and cylinder de-activation.
- 0-60 under 4 seconds
- An available dry-sump oil system
- 7-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Matching
- 50:50 weight distribution
- Brembo brakes
- Only 5 mm longer than a Porsche 911
IMHO the C6 still has one of the best looking rear three-quarter views of just about any car, probably to do with the beautiful rear window.

I think they've made a styling gaff ditching the iconic round taillights on the new model; they're part of the brand and were in fact distinctive in an automotive styling period where tacky LED Christmas-style lights are perceived as having merit.
Ferrari tried this with the Testarossa and 348 and quickly went back to 'proper' Ferrari shape rear lights.

The C7's been criticised for having too much R35 or Acura ASC in there. Probably inevitable.
As for the Ferrari; Bill Mitchell blatantly plagiarised Pininfarina (often to very good effect) for years, so it's tradition.

Very GTR from that side window profile!
