Audi SLime ones.

Those ones M-B used to have; Ambience, Avantgarde, Designo, Crap, or whatever.

Ford TIT ones in size 800 font.

Ones that twats stick on themselves (Weber Marelli injection Inside or whatever) pale into insignificance by comparo.

The car in front is usually a Toyota or a f ucking Clio with a 1/2-mile tailback behind it. We know that already.

Probably because its a remapped version and the owner is being a funny bugger. Those PD 130 engines though will comfortably nip up to 185bhp / 310lbft, some owners like to advertise its 30-100 leptons acceleration. Try and keep up in an S through the mid range.. the Skoda is no slouch and will surprise you for a diesel! I'll be doing the same next month in my Golf GT TDI 130 (a remap, that is) once i've bolted on the bigger Intercooler and pipework i've bought. Just upgraded the engine mounts (vibrates like a b*tch until they bed in), the old girl is lowered anyway and has new bigger S3 brakes. All for fun (I cant stop fidgeting with cars!)

Mine still says "Golf" on the left of the tailgate, and "TDI" on the right. Once its remapped, it will be de-badged. You can never "follow" a VAG car, most of them break down with silly issues in the end, including flaky Skodas (next time you see a stranded car on the motorway, BET you its a VAG ... probably me with a slipping clutch )

Yeah i know as I've said in the past, I'm considering getting a Fabia VRS as a second car now i have no qualms about admitting it/liking them. TBH i want to do the same if i get one but no way you get 185BHP on a PD130 standard turbo, i know I've seen quite a few getting remapped 175BHP at best, that's pushing it. Even some of the Golfs which are slightly higher powered PD130 will not hit 185 on the standard turbo.

FWIW it absolutely arsholed a hybrid VRS months ago circa 230, I wasnt trying too hard i was in the middle of doing logs as half way through the hose clamp decided to come off and i was running 3psi less too.

Good thing is bits from other cars are interchangeable, FMIC from a Seat ibiza Cupra TDI, PD150 from a golf, Brakes from TT
