Default CRV search

So.. all plans abandoned and we are looking for a late ish CRV hybrid

It's apparently going to be driven by me on occasion so this is the pref over a snotty Qash. I need to drive one first.

I have found usually only the SR and EX spec have leather which is desirable with a child, a dog and my missus. So min spec is that.

Heated front seats in the SR but rear maybe only in the EX which has a shite HUD thing (very average compared to that in the EV6 but in both it's pure gimic) and a nice large sunroof.

It will need much more maint than an EV but is a lot cheaper and will do maybe 6k a year

Son in law has 08 plate CRV. Leather heated seats lumbar support.
Not sure how compares with the Qashqai.
Handling feels fairly taut.
Oversteers (FWD).

Leather on the top two specs

Hybrids all auto, similar gear controls to the E

Heated front and electric lumbar on the SR - good enough I hope.

3yo 22k miles or so looks like around £25k? At least not Range Rover or Merc prices if that is indeed where Honda are trying to go.

The one we are off to see is 28k miles, £22.5k

Auto trader says great price, I bet some dealers hate that feature, it's early 2021 car so 3 years old

If it's all straight it solves the problem

Hope it goes well Jason. A much better solution than that AWD electric battery EV6 both financially and worry wise. Taking long trips is still less hassle in an ICE car.

edit: also I gather it lets you keep the go kart e

It solves 2 problems (her car being a shitter and our range wagon)

Let's hope it's trouble free. I can have this and the E for the price of the EV6 (top spec) and it means my daily chuckabout is not a compromise.

Collected today.

A few stone chips, one door scuff, some child related marks and really poorly prepped by a car supermarket but I guess that comes with the territory.

We cleaned it up this afternoon but didn't finish before the rain came. Surprise.

Drives nice, it's no enthusiasts car and is large with a huge boot for the dog.

The hybrid system is not obtrusive and it happily cruises quietly at or beyond NSL

As a family car it's my 3rd attempt. M3 - she would avoid it like the plague, e - comfy but too small for schlepps, CRV seems a better fit

Yes, we have too many cars on our drive but qash to go this week I hope

It's big.

Comfy. Quite dull but will accommodate a couple of dogs and stuff if that is what you need

Can you get a 2.4 CRV? I woulda bought a legacy ice tbf but there was only a 2L vtec and 1.5turbo VTEC in the UK afaik
