Good decision. I share your distrust of hybrid = more to go wrong, but in practice a sensible compromise from the dumb user's point of view and (hearsay) it tends to be the elec side that fails which is no big deal. This will be an interesting challenge for you Jason doing maintenance and servicing yourself and an opportunity to get hands on dirty with elec harvesting and using.

Yeah I would have preferred a turbo smoker but they of course don't exist at 3yo now.

I like the auto and it drives fine for what it is. Fully cleaned and protected but the result of all that hybrid crap is, I expect, +10mpg?

Meh

Anyway, onwards, I am no longer searching for a car I've little interest in lol

Mid 40s mpg for a petrol. Ok it probably weighs a fair bit

On a run it's very refined, corners well despite it's height and damping is well judged imo. Quiet inside.

The tech feels dated Vs the e, ACC I could not get working without the manual and the infotainment feels one gen older though it does support android auto

Perfect partner for the e but its boxing me in ATM and I don't like that. I don't wanna use it in the morning for my dog walk (woods near me are a marsh ATM) or at all for my day to day really, it's way too bulky. But on a run, seats are better, space is nice, climate is powerful.

CRV is proving very practical and capable transport

12yo party this weekend, the OH transported a few and I took an S which won't negotiate the speed bumps at the leisure centre so I parked outside, when I walked in I found this

Noone in sight. A passenger had left the door open, dorris "didn't notice'

Hmm. Still the leather is holding up well to a disobedient dog lol

AVG is 42mpg

Few months in.

Very comfortable. Not abhorrent to drive.

Machine polished last week, I enjoy the results if not the process. I would buy another to take the load.

I have zero interest in trolling about in such a big tank, it's hard to park, squeezes a lot of places.

Sound system is very good. It's all a bit slow tho..thunk on doors is impressive..the OH "feels safer" on NSL Vs the little e. It's range is impressive and driving back from York hungover it was wafty and quick.

I'd say if you have a dog and a kid it's a choice..I'd prefer a lotus. But honda know how to build these things
