well, gobby alone is quite enough justification

but there are a few other categories that need to go in the slap folder

ugly women with kids
chavs (except dirty female ones)
anyone who walks with a stick and tries to jump queues (veterans excepted obviously)
anyone with a tattoo on their neck
fat people
arsey foreigners

Then you might have seen my team mate get in his MR2 (parked next to my S) the other day after we'd been to a meeting together at RLH - it was hot so I put the roof down - he gets in then jumps out again in a hurry (obviously pissed that he has to get out to do the same ) and promptly prangs my S with his door!

Luckily i'd parked a bit too far forward in the space so it actually contacted on the rear wheel arch (where its solid) rather than middle of the door (where it certainly would have dented!).

Bastard never said a word (and still hasn't)

Left a minute spec of his paint on the wheel arch, but it soon claybar'd off - no mark or dent (luckily for him!).

Some bastard put a big dent in my MR2 only 1 week after i'd bought it - i was gutted.

Another guy opened his door on me (twice!) in Tesco car park last year (crappy old Astra) - I glared and gave him a 'watch it mate' - he just told me to 'f*** off'.

Who's to blame? Well apart from the tossers themselves, I guess the people who actually own the car parks - after all its their fault the bloody spaces are so narrow - TOO narrow (unless of course you have kids or are disabled.... dont get me started...!),

Or is this all down to local council rules & regs i.e. how big a standard car parking space should be? Anyone know??

 

Wider spaces might be worse for dings - more room to build momentum opening the door.
