End of Modding?
I am wondering what impact it will have on the Nemesis Performance business but I can say at the moment I am remaining positive about it.
For a start we will see the end of replica kits and cheap nasty Ebay modifications, that I am looking forward to very much.
Pretty much all the products I deal in carry an approval of some kind like DOT, BS, JASMA or TUV so I feel I should be quite safe.

To fan the flames a little, The Times reported this morning that 1 in 200 people will die in a car crash; 1 in 65000 in a rail accident; and 1 in 7.6 million in an aircraft. So we should all fly
Interesting that there's no statistics for road-based public transport (e.g., buses & coaches)...

Lets all stay in bed and hide under the covers. Oh wait, you're more likely to die in bed than any other place.
Everything's a risk. So engineer your risks.
I'd rather die in a flaming car accident than slipping out of the bath and cracking my head on the toilet for example.

Britons have a one in 200 chance of being killed in a road crash
The calculation of lifetime risk
The number of road deaths fell by only 7 per cent between 1998 and 2006, from 3,412 to 3,172.

What a
measure.
I predict a rise in the purchase of trailers, and more kit car owners SORN'ing their cars and just using them for track toys.
Oh no, wait, they're making that harder too with the stricter implementation of lower noise limits, and incoming rules about Cats in racing (catalytic converters not caterhams) etc.

Also, specialist builders who currently don't officially crash test, but have had numerous 'racing incidents' prove the integrity of their chassis won't be able to sell their cars as road cars. I'm talking here about companies like Caterhan, Westfield and all the other small volume manufacturers, for whom a crash test on each model will be prohibitive, and so could have to reduce their ranges to a single model.
