ESPN Classic this afternoon
Having Sky+'ed it, I've just watched both programs.
They're actually from a series called Wheelbase, which was apparently the BBC's precursor to Top Gear, but with collars and ties and received pronunciation ...
The 1965 program was pretty poor, but the 1969 one was good. Showed all the arguments over "aerofoils" (which had just come in) and took delight in reporting how they had been banned "for good".
One of the presenters went on to say that he thought their banning was probably a good thing as it would clear the way for four wheel drive, which "is undoubtedly the future of Formula 1" ...
