Default Evo 9

Was taken out for a drive around the Kenilworth/Prodrive track in an Evo yesterday, I am sure some of you will have been in it on those driver dream days.

The driver was very good, really quick around the track. I think he would lap significantly quicker than most of us who were in 360s.

Very enjoyable run

Not me for sure, unless you forget that I gave that term to this forum about 6 years ago

He did drive on the edge, I'll give him that. MB, are you saying you have been in this car/driver and felt him to be a weapon or the vehicle was a weapon? I am interested as he tore around the track like a loon.

I meant the vehicle to be fair

It's not hugely different to my 8, but enough to make it a worthy upgrade.

Which number is this Mark?, it was the fast one VQ something like that? It was a Jap import.

It had a sensitive turbo because when i first drove it I forgot that I'm not in the S shifted late and it sort of held back/hit a wall , shifted early after that .

Apart from that was quite cool, could get away with more stuff than a RWD.

Well, they are fast as heck. This bloke knew his way around the car and the track. Made my drive in the Ferraris look pitiful tbh.

Mine's an 8 MR 340...
