I think it's ok to break the limit to overtake as long as you get back to the limit after the manouevre
unfortunately not.

Hate those drivers.

Similar thing happened to me on a round-about at the weekend....

2 lanes, MPV on the inside, I'm on the outside lane slightly slightly behind. Both going straight on. As we've gone round the round-about, he's cut over to my lane. So I hit the horn to warn him I'm there (and to gesture he's a pra** As I drive past hes the one going mad at me instead of retaliating I blew him a kiss. This guys face was a picture People just don't know what to do.
Same thing happened to me today. Some stupid old tart in a 1 series BMW.

Going right at roundabout, I'm in right lane, she's in left . She drivesoff and cuts straight infront of me, so I blast her with the horn. Then as I'm driving down the dual carriageway I get almost alongside her (prolly sitting in the blind spot) and she goes to pull out, no indication.

Dumb braod got some more abuse.

If its a bloke I blow them a kiss too.

Licking your figures and rubbing your nipple can be amusing too.

Another case of car envy from the 4x4 brigade. Also I know many people don't like being overtaken by women drivers, esp if in a sports car

The lack of lane discipline on roundabouts has always been a huge problem in London and I agree it's just getting worse and worse. Those drivers should have to retake their test every 10 years to learn the highway code

The chances are he didn't do this on purpose. It was probably because just like every other idiot driver out there he could actually increase speed with confidence. You know the type - straightline drag racers. No confidence in the twisty stuff and suddenly they become heroes when a little straight bit comes along.

I have had a couple of experiences of this nature - remember my "Almost got killed?" thread? Since that time I overtake each car as though they have no clue, are going to get arsey or are oblivious. This was I never give them a chance to put their foot down. I still do however overtake plenty of cars.

A woman in a Fiat Punto today was so desperate for me not to overtake (we were doing all of about 30mph) that she went around a left hand bend (her on the inside) with such speed (ok 30 isn't fast but it was too fast for her car on this corner) that her nearside rear wheel actually left the ground for a few seconds.

I backed off and gave her loads of room and waited for it to topple
