Default F-Ugly cars

I hate these things with a passion.

F-Ugly US cars with a pram lid

I've noticed a few on the roads just recently and they are even worse in real life.

Alamo Car Rentals in L.A listed these as their "main" convertible last year. They had to withdraw it due to a loss of customers (inc me!). They have reverted to the Sebring.

I remember when the PT Cruiser (hard top, if you can call it that) was released. At the Press Launch they used black cars, which had the unfortunate affect of making them look like hearses

They are very cheap. And nasty.

But there is a certain type of non-car person, to whom that appeals. They usually like to think of themselves as "quirky". Or far king unhinged, as clinical psychologists call it.

A friend of mine who lives in France is replacing her ageing Pug 306 Cabriolet and asked what I thought of one of those PT Cruisers (or Petit Cruiser, as she put it).

I told her I'd disown her if she gave it any more thought ...

A guy joined this forum not too long ago, who used to run the PT Cruiser forum. Whatever happened to him?

Yeah, they are ugly as sin.

I have a colleague whose wife drives/owns one.
By an cruel twist of fate, he is an Alfa Romeo driver - surely the concise definition of "opposites attract"?
