Bahrain Grand Prix

Sakhir, 12-14 March, 2010

Friday 12 Mar: Practice 1 0700-0830; Practice 2 1100-1230

Sat 13 Mar: Practice 3 0800-0900; Qualifying 1100

Sun 14 Mar: Race 1200

Looking forward to seeing the new teams and new rules. Not been following too many of the developments over the year-end break.

I suspect that JB might be visibly out-driven by LH.

I've not followed anything so far

Is there a fantasy F1 this year?

Looking forward to the new season, seeing how competitive it is and what the previous champs have to offer

If I were to make a bet right now, I'd say that Lewis or Jenson won't win the title...no particular reason...I just have a feeling that someone else will come up trumps

Liking the odds on Karun Chandhok, Jamie Alguersuari, Lucas di Grassi - 500 to 1 !

Sorry Ian, no idea about the odds, wouldn't mind finding out though...

I agree that Vettel is a good bet...although his team mate have something to say about it.

I bet the odds on Chandok or di Grassi for causing an accident are pretty crap though!

There can be no other outcome, it will be Schumacher who wins the title.
This will be the year when he answers all the critics, he will win it fairly, with out too much controversy in a sporting manner that will see him crowned the greatest driver that ever lived.
I cant wait.

It'll be Alonso, I reckon.

It's certainly going to be an interesting year. Those new teams were several seconds off the pace; so that's a six car mobile chicane going around the track. And with no refuelling, it'll be a return to fast pit stops. Red Bull say they've got the pit stop down to 1.8 seconds.

It is going to be an interesting season to be sure. For what they are worth, my thoughts for the year ahead...

Button / Hamilton / McLaren......unless the car turns out to be head and shoulders above the rest of the field (and I don't think it will be) they will take too many points off each other for either to be World Champion. Whilst I think Hamilton is the better racer, I think Jenson's smooth style could mean he pips Lewis in the championship - tyre preservation on a full race load of fuel will be crucial!

This could well be Vettel's year - he has learnt enough & the car will be good.....my money is on either Seb or Fred for the drivers Championship. If the Ferrari isn't guzzling fuel the way some feel it is, I think the Alonso / Ferrari combination will be tough to beat. If the engine is thirsty, this will be a huge handicap, it will have to sart even heavier than the rest of the field.

What would I like to happen? Jenson to defend his title!

We will see cars run out of fuel...my money is on Ferrari to be amongst the first to suffer this.
