Come off it.
We cry out because our sports stars are too sterile and boring and then along comes a young chap who says the odd stupid thing, brags a bit and we all jump to knock him down for having views and a little too much attitude.
If he was a Scumacher like machine you'd slag him off and if he was James Hunt you'd slag him off. You just don't like him is what, nothing wrong with that mind.

You mean emulating his hero Senna?
Absolutely!!!!!It would be interesting to see what the stewards would do actually, as the Schumacher one was so blatent and he had a history of it.
Prost - Senna, and vice versa was less so, although it's traditionally agreed that they were both deliberate actions.
The funny thing is, first corner at the lake track is always a lottery, it's going to be tense!

Still hanging in there for Lewis. yes he's made some daft mistakes this year, but he is still the most exciting racing driver out there.
I just hope the race is free from interference from the (bar)stewards!

I had a free bet via Quidco with one of the online bookies so I stuck it on Hamilton to win the F1 championship. Not brilliant odds but, hey, it's free money if he wins. So, irrespective of the fact that it would be nice to see a British champion, I'll be rooting for him for purely personal pecuniary purposes!

I'm not bitter and twisted, but Hamilton is the last person I'd like to see F1 champion. I don't believe a word that comes out of his mouth. Everything is premeditated by McLaren and it makes it impossible to belive anything he says.
In terms of his driving, he's too raw and still needs to temper his style to stop shredding tyres and making silly mistakes.

His tyre shredding style and silly mistakes will reduce with maturiy and experience

Remember the first year when Villenueve came into F1, he used to run with relatively low downforce so he could overtake.
Outside around the last turn before the pit straight at Estoril anyone........

Clinical is just too boring!

It isn't Big Brother, the public doesn't get a vote (yet....).
He's a talented driver, with more flair on track than anyone remotely successful in F1 has had for years and he's British, something I make no bones about being supportive of.
He's young and inexperienced, but despite that he's placed to win the driver's championship, that's some achievement despite Ron Dennis' patronage.
Good luck to the boy, I'll be rooting for him on Sunday.
I wouldn't want him to change his style too much, he doesn't need to.
He has made some silly mistakes, but that is to be expected, he's still only 23.
And for all his errors, he's leading the championship
.Come on.............!!!
we should cheer our drivers.
look what the spanish are up too.

I can't wait to see the race on Sunday and it will be great if a Herts boy wins the F1 title.
The spanish are shocking in their racist taunts - they can't even spell "family"
