Default F1 Canada - ITV coverage this weekend

Ok, I know there are some guys kicking footballs around this weekend, but the ITV1 F1 coverage is still completely sh*te!

Quali at 12:45am on Sun I can live with, but only showing highlights of the race at 1am on Mon morning is completely hopeless!

Send them your complaints via their website:

done. You'd think they'd re-run at least at a sociable hour.

They've got ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and yet they can't use these???

IF BBC had the rights, you'd bet they'd show it on BBC2 if it clashed with the footy.

Hi Alex

I thought that ITV had a contractural obligation to show every race live

Looking at the ITV F1 website, the schedule for this weekends coverage has not yet been posted.....how do you know they are not showing the race live?

Thank the lord!!

Sorry F1 fans, but if I wanted to watch a load of cars following each other for two hours, I pitch a deck chair alongside the M25

Had a look at the other ITV channels, one of them (ITV4 I think) is showing quali at about 6pm on Sat, and the race live at 5pm on Sun, so ok for people with digital channels, but still pretty poor imo.
Oh arse!

So assuming England manage to top group B, they will play their 1st knock-out game at 4pm on Sunday afternoon...............clashing with the race which is ITV4 which whilst I can receive, I cant record

No point recording the football as I have absolutely no chance to watching it after the race not knowing the result.

Right..........how do I persuade my venerable old VHS to record from the digi receiver built into my TV - this must be do-able!

You are quite right Paul, and whilst I know it's the way forward, but I am currently in the throes of buying something to replace my S...........my good wife's patience / tolerance / sense of humour is already being stretched to the limit without more spending on toys

"TV Schedule available soon" according to their site. I assume they'll change it to something better like they did last year when we all went nuts.
