This is one of several races that is usually very processional, whoever gets a good quali in and on the front row is very likely to win ..... unless it rains and then I think we all know the result barring a catastrophe ... don't we?

Yep hoping for rain as this race is usually more dull than watching paint dry, and this is coming from a huge F1 fan! anyhow the last time it rained at Hungary we all know what happened; our Jense won! hmm small chance of that happening again though methinks...

 

Ferrari 1st (Massa) & 2nd in 1st Practice, but a completely different story in 2nd Practice......they really cant afford to be down on the 3rd row (or worse) for the race. Renault - certainly on Piquet's car at least, ran 'super soft' tyres for the very quick runs, so perhaps their pace is slightly deceptive.

It is going to be a very fine line for the top teams to secure a good gride position (i.e. the front row) without completely buggering up their races with a severly compromised fuel strategy.

 

I hope Renault get pole and f**k everyone's race up.

 

I'm liking Damon Hill as Commentator/Presenter. He's already told Steve Rider twice that he's wrong!

 

He's just not as decisive or interesting as Brundle though, which being a world champion you'd think he would be.
