Nah.

If you were a bit Jenson, your post wouldn't arrive until sometime next week

Amazing, a feature on ITV's F1 coverage that doesn't feature Lewis Hamilton!

Goodwood and Ferrari (and a bit of a plug for Shell for those who know)....at the same time......next thing you know they'll be using non-moronic presenters / commentators!

So, the start. Should Ron point out to Lewis that getting off the dirty line is one thing, driving across more than forward and putting a rival on the grass is another.

Very well judged by Hamilton.
Squeezed Massa just enough to distract him but Massa never leaves the track, just wheels onto the white stripe (the radius on the tyre might touch a few blades of grass)

That is such a lovely move by Hamiltonagainst Raikonnen. So late on the brakes but still keeps it controlled (barely) and gets a nice clean move.

I've been ignoring the Hamilton hype so far. It's been obvious from the start of the season that he's a good driver but he does have the makings of a great. Even when things aren't working he's making things work for him (although I will admit I'm pi$$ed off with ITV's constant coverage of him but that shouldn't predjudice me against him). The classic example was the Nurburgring race in the rain. He has an appauling race ending up at the back but he doesn't give it up and gets himself through to just off the points. Granted he made a mistake with tyre choice at the end but he's got plenty of time to learn from that and also he had to do something if he was going to get back up to fighting with the front runners

Also, a lovely little tet-a-tet between Button and Rosberg midway through the race

Hamilton really impressed me today, some absolutely outstanding overtakes, the one against Kimi is one of the best I can recall. I thought Martin Brundle's observation that Himlton tends to have relatively poor middle sectors was bang on.

I know Kimi has an injured neck but he looks SO lacklustre at the moment, I don't know where the speed he had in the McClaren has gone.

The digs that Alonso and Hamilton were having in the press conference after were awesome too. I've never seen a more miserable race winner than Alonso

Right - predictions then!

1st - Raikkonen
2nd - Massa
3rd - Alonso

I reckon Hamilton will not finish
Easy with hindsight, but you couldn't have got that more wrong

Massa must surely give up any hope of challenging for drivers championship now, I wouldn't blame Ferrari if they concentrate on Kimi, although again, he doesn't look like doing it.

Ron Dennis in the post-race celebrations had the look of a man desparately trying to force a smile, but knowing deep down that McLaren are going to lose all their championship points on Thur - I truly hope this isn't the case, but the FIA are certainly keeping their cards close to their chest.

I'm heading off to Spa on Fri, so if the FIA have effectively ended this years World Championship on Thur, to say it would put a downer on the weekend is a massive understatement
