Much better for us if it goes to the last race, either driver would accept the title by a scrappy single point I'm sure. Tired again now already, I'm past these early starts.

It certainly looked to me that Rosberg gained an advantage under the safety car, my impression was that both Brawns would have just pipped him after his last stop.

After what happened during qualifying, if Rosberg was even a fraction of a second faster that his Delta time under the safety car then the stewards MUST penalise him, otherwise F1 descends into a fiasco again.

Great drive by Vettel, but I still do not see him as the challenge again Jenson for the title, but I'll keep that hat on standby in case I need to eat it.

The Race Director reported to the Stewards that Car No 16, Nico Rosberg exceeded the time delta from when the "Safety Deployed" message was displayed until crossing the Safety Car line,” read a statement from the sport’s governing body. “The Stewards met with the driver and the team representatives and considered the telemetry data, GPS records, timekeeping and video evidence. This evidence showed a "low fuel" message on the drivers display had overridden the time delta information preventing the driver from being able to accurately follow the timing information.

“However the telemetry data shows that the driver from a safety point of view had reacted adequately to the yellow flags and safety car boards. In view of this the Stewards intend to take no further action.

How convenient they chose that time to send a low fuel message to Nico!

Or am I being too cynical?

He was due a pit stop, so it's believable.

Load of carp really. They're all meant to comply to a certain lap time, for good reason, which he didn't. It may not have been the driver's fault, but a design fault in the team's system, but it's still the driver's responsibility. And by not sticking to the laptime, he obviously gained an advantage that wasn't open to the other drivers. How can they not penalise him?

ATEOTD, a similar thing could be said for JB/RB with respect to the yellow incident in Quali - they broke the rules, they got a penalty, they didn't argue.

But if Rosberg has gained an advantage, despite there being a low fuel mix up, he HAS to get a penalty based purely on the RULES that the FIA have been implementing.

Very good race that - some good overtakes, crashes and the safety car at the end gave it good ending.

Couldn't read the delta on his screen? What a loads of complete rubbish - sorry officer I didn't know I was doing 120mph in a 60mph limit as my dashboard was up the swanny. Ok son, not to worry, just watch it next time...........

Stewards............ YOUR JOB IS TO ADJUDICATE AND BE CONSISTENT

That is a rediculous judgement!
You break the rules you pick up a penalty; simple as.........
If the car has a fuggin' stupid design flaw that has two high priority messages over-riding one another they deserve the penalty as a punishment for poor design

Exactly - and it looks like they aren't going to penalise him either

Yes, it is probably common sense they they don't penalise him - he had a valid excuse.

But it's the fact they they have been completely ignoring common sense in favour of Black and White of the rules.

That is completely fine, but they must carry it through and I think this will be the gripe of Brawn.
