Default F1 - Monza

McLaren were looking very strong this morning, but this afternoon Sutil has topped the timesheets, followed by the (KERS equipped) Renaults.

Monza is of course ultra low downforce, so tends to produce more interesting results. And this year they've built up the kerbs (15cm high) to stop the cars jumping across. You can see that causing a few tears.

I wonder if Fisi is regretting his move - it looked like his attention was elsewhere when he should have been braking. Luizzi has done quite well all things considered.

Quite liked one of the presenters quips about Grosjean - "Nelson Piquet must have forgotten his excuse book in the car".

Good performance from the Force India team. Fisi did okay all things considered. Hopefully Brawn don't have any launch issues and the one stop plan pans out.

Fuel weights

1. Lewis Hamilton, McLaren, 653.5kg
2. Adrian Sutil, Force India, 655
3. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari, 662
4. Heikki Kovalainen, McLaren, 683
5. Rubens Barrichello, Brawn GP, 688.5
6. Jenson Button, Brawn GP, 687
7. Vitantonio Liuzzi, Force India, 679.5
8. Fernando Alonso, Renault, 677.5
9. Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, 682
10. Mark Webber, Red Bull, 683

Hamilton lightest so makes Sutils lap even more amazing. Brawns heaviest. All being well it should be a Red Bull Brawn battle, my money is on Rubens.

Kova is in with a good chance, if he can manage to drive properly for once.

If the Brawns can stay out of trouble for the first few laps I can see them running away with it.

Has there been any more mention of LH blocking Buemi early on?

There was an interview with Buemi and he did not see too fussed about it as I think he was on an out lap.
