Didn't think it was a brilliant race. I'm not that enthused this season really so it was more of the same -fast forward about 15 laps. Qualifying and practive are 10 x more interesting than the race itself.

I think they have to do something regarding qualifying. There has been a few races, where it's actually ended up being a disadvantage to qualify in 10th, rather than 11th where your able to specify your fuel load.

I think if I was in quali 3 and it was evident that I wasn't going to get near the top 5 in the first laps i'd stick as much fuel in as I could. I presume you don't have to specify the fuel level your going to run with for the race at the start of quali 3 do you?

That's always been the case. But they do need to forget about qualifying on race fuel. If they ban refuelling next year (assuming there is a next year), then perhaps they will. Or are they going to have to qualify on enough fuel for the whole race?

There was quite a lot of action in today's race, just none of it at the front.

You tell me. I fell asleep on the couch ...
You're not the only one I even had to have an additional nap after the race because I was so tired out from the race nap.

why would anyone want to keep Silverstone in the calendar?

the lack of overtaking opportunities just make the races boring

bigfecker is right - and this was a dreadful advert for F1
Agreed, I usually watch most GPs but I caught about 15 minutes yesterday as it didn't interest me much.

Brands Hatch was a MUCH more interesting and fun circuit to watch. Remains to be seen if Donnington is any good but surely must be more entertaining than Silverstone.
