The wife has English as her 2nd language.
She used to say "is it" rather than "isn't it". She now just does it when she wants to wind me up
Some of the stuff she comes up with is brilliant. Latest one was pronouncing "swede", suede.

Lots of people have different speech mannerisms, which are fine but when they are just copying other peoples inflections thoughtlessly it makes them seem brainless!
