Mrs. Canny-Body has unconditionally accepted liability and the car will visit Admiral's appointed local repairer this evening for an estimate.

It will be interesting to see what transpires, again.

CAP are putting values on the car as follows:

Average dealer retail £2,700 - £2,925
Private sale price £2,225 - £2,425
Trade in clean £1,400 - £1,500
Trade in average £1,150 - £1,225
Trade in below £890 - £970

Were I ever to consider selling it - which is highly unlikely, as it's effectively irreplaceable - I'd laugh at any offer less than £4,500 - £5,000.

Values for such rare things are usually BS - effectively, they'd write it off.

Many NSXs suffered the same fate for similar reasons, when selling prices were half what they currently are.
