I'd forgotten about FIAT brakes!
They snatch. You press harder and not much more happens and you end up with a scare. H & T is a PIA.
Fortunately, the X-1/9s had no servo, so were absolutely fine.
Those old egg-shaped Kas were great cars; like I keep saying, we'll probably regard the 1990s as the zenith of automotive design...
