Just going through my photos from a visit to the Lakes a few weeks ago... was having a well earned ale outside a pub & this lil' beauty rolled up...

Looks like it needs a four-wheel alignment and that ding fixing.

But a good example of an icon.

I still admire ItalDesign of that era; almost as nice as the Delta.

Who'd have thought (apart from a certain engineer messing around in Ingolstadt) that bolting a VW Iltis driveline onto a grey-porridge 80 and adding a puffer could have produced such a convincing weapon?

Did you Photoshop that image? The red looks abnormally vivid. Or maybe it's just because of the dull Merc and Beemer in the background.
