Ford Ka
I have one as a run around, taking stuff to the tip and commuting when it the weather is too dire for the bike,
my wife bought it new in 2008 before they released the new version for £5000. Metallic paint, Air con, electrics etc, heated front screen. It's a tidy little motor
The older ones had terrible noisy engines but the 2003?+ Duratec ones are quite decent, ours doesn't ever use any oil and is quiet. 5 speed gearbox is fairly good also.
I like it as a cheap daily, parts are cheap (I replaced whole clutch for £100) but my only concern is having a crash in it...

My first soft top was a Streetka in 03. I absolutely loved it to bits and had no problems with it. Then I saw the S2000 :-D
Husband had a Puma and will always put a FRP in his top 5 cars. However, as a passenger, it was bloody uncomfortable and definitely as a passenger in the back!

Christ, I had no idea the Kent was still going in one form (OHC!) or another...
They dragged the 1,172cc side valve unit on well into the 1960s before that - and it's where I got the idea that Fords all had antiquated lumps of iron under an overstyled and under-engineered body.
Mind you, the hilariously crap Pinto family actually evolved into quite a decent unit at the very end. Likewise, Cosworth did a decent job on that laughable Ventolin-Cologne V6.

The basis for that gem of an engine the FVA.
Ans do not forget the Lotus TC!
Some respect please Mr Graves!
About the last decent lump Ford engineered - before they handed it over to the Krauts or the Septics. Rough in finish and in balance, but it was effective in crossflow form.
The Sigma was sweet admittedly, but they had to get Yamaha to design that.
