Default Four Post Lift

I'm looking to purchase a four post lift to put in the garage - primarily to give me an additional parking space but also as a handy tool for working on the classics.

I'm looking at a Rotary or a BendPak, but nice as these are, they're pretty pricey for what is likely to be an infrequently used item.

I would prefer new. Does anyone have some suggestions for alternative brands I should look at?

Why a 4 post lift? 2 post lifts are cheaper.

Probably so he can drive on, rather than extend arms.

The garage is not that wide and from looking around the two post lifts seem to be somewhat wider.

I'll look a little more into them though

Even pros damage cars in garages with insufficient headroom!

It sounds stupid, but do check it out first!

I've not seen many single phase 4 post lifts.

Slightly off topic but I know a bloke who has a lift in his underground parking which lets him drive one car in, lift it and then park another car underneath.

Pretty cool IYAM and not that expensive considering inner city parking spaces being so limited. I would like one but dont think we have the headroom.. unless I bought two caterhams of course
