From what I'm aware there have been rumblings of a protest for a number of weeks now - wouldn't be surprised if it did actually happen..

Might make sure we're topped up just in case

WGAF, all people will do is fill up more the day before and the day after. Nothing will change, fuel tax will remain exhorbitant, and we will continue to be shafted.

I have no idea why things like Bio Ethanol aren't given significant tax relief, if the goal of fuel tax is to drive CO2 reduction.

Whilst I'm not a huge fan of strike type action there doesn't appear to be any other way to get the government to listen.

The Tories must all be tossing each other off with delight at this as it has been well publicised that their main strategy of late has been to keep Labour on the back foot until Christmas, that way they don't have to talk about their own policies and Labour take a real kicking.

Maybe it is time to see exactly how 'green' the nation is when push come to shove. It's all ok for the chattering classes to get a bag made out of African cattle shit to take home your weekly shopping, but if little Tarquin can't get to school because there's no go juice for the Chelsea tractor.......

We aren't good at making the government listen in this country.

A mass strike is needed, and long term.

or some riots for continually being ****ed over
