Default Garage alarm

I'm after an alarm for my garage, I don't need anything too flash just one that has the paired contacts that if broken activate the siren. I don't need a PIR as there's only one point of entry into the garage and that's the main up and over door.

I've looked on amazon and there are lots on
there so just wondered if anybody has any recommendations?

Maplin.

Shed alarm.

Incredibly loud for something battery-operated.

I like the look of the Maplin shed alarm, only £19.99 and looks like it'll do the job as I want. I'll go and get one tomorrow.

Thanks.

Fitted that Maplin alarm today, had to extend the wire but it seems to be working well. It's very loud!

Pardon?

Yup; I've deafened myself with it in an 8 x 8 shed.

Pleased it's working.

Common mistake made by those with non criminal minds.

If you have a roof then you have at least two points of entry.

Shed alarms, due to their installation location are usually pointless and easily compromised.

And if activated by a clutz opening a door without checking one is fitted, they are quickly dispatched.

If you have something worth fitting an alarm to protect (obviously you do) then do it properly.
