Guys I have my garage close the house. Its in a garage block.
Any ideas on lighting options? I have battery lights atm.... I guess a generator is required. Are there any quiet ones?

Big old 2nd hand computer UPS - probably pick one up for under £300 with 3300VA capacity. Charge it up at home, take it around there when you want it - should run an inspection light for a while ...... but you'll put your back out lifting one of them.

Watch out for swollen ( failing ) batteries if you buy 2nd hand.

Runtimes are here.

I was thinking of a long term solution. :-) at the momnet it seems like move house... its more annoying as the other house has a garage on the property that I could easily run electric to and its a bigger garage and bigger house!! (Its rented out) could easily fit my motor bike road push bike and the car in and possibly biuld a pit in the middle.... :-(
