Default Garage overhaul

My garage is a shit tip, a combination of previous owners and all mine and the doris' junk

So I popped down to B&Q today to get some shelving, but found they did some quite interesting free standing stuff.

What are they made of - plastic or PC'd steel?

Mine's racked out with mostly IKEA stuff, so one can make it up as one goes along.

Just plastic, Nick. I was dubious at first, and would have preferred wood, but these are really stable and easy to put up.

Eagle eye

I think it's "good" asbestos

Pretty sure it came up in the report, but need to double check that now you mention it!

I can't believe you were going to buy a GTR with a garage like that, Mark

A tidy garage is very satisfying I have some more work to do in my little garage (I have done some since I took this photo):

It was going to need a good didy to fit the GTR in! Give it some weeks and I will ahve it looking very different

Yours looks clinically organised

I think we need to see other peoples garages - let the fun commence!

Mark, I would expect to see an old MGA covered in dust when the doors
were opened

The metal ones you have in there look a bit more sturdy than the plastic ones.

I got some metal ones from Homebase IIRC, they all fix together easily, bolted 2 lots together and screwed them to the wall of one of my sheds.

Very secure

P.S. you need to sort out the rest of the shite in there before you worry about and electric door

I went with 2 of these side by side. double doors on each, my storage spans 6 ft tall x 5 ft wide
