Garage Security
Ok yesterday I acquired a garage
It currently has a standard up and over door. There is also no power or any chance of getting any.
So any tips on how best I can secure it to make sure whichever car ends up in there remains there ?

You can also get a motion sensor alarm that has a SIM card in it which will alert you via text of an intruder. They dont use much power since they are in effect a clever mobile phone - reckon you might be able to hook up a small solar panel like you see for shed lighting to keep it charged?
If you do a google you should find simpler but look for Boat alarms sonce they ggenerally need to tell you remotely.
This looks a bit OTT but gives you an idea: http://www.easyalarms.co.uk/alarm_sy...one_alarms.asp
or

Hopefully you can secure it enough not to need one though

This may be conceived as a red rag to a bull, especially if the garage is a rented one in a block.

Yep the Maser lives outdoors , every day and will probably continue to do so. It gets used often, racks up real mileage, is left all over the place and rarely gets washed.
It is after all just a car albeit a pretty nice one but still only a car.
