What's going on with this Honda Team?

Talk about schoolboy errors!

Yes, but he got to do one run and should have at least been able to get 16th on that.

I think he's lost his confidence, maybe because Barichello is suddenly doing so much better.

I was pleased to see Kimi get second. Hopefully tomorrow will turn into a 3-way race.

Either that's cleaned up really well (the car) or they've put the plate onto a new one. When I saw it at the institute day it looked really shabby.

JB didn't fail to deliver - Honda did.

All the top runners did their fastest lap on their final run. JB didn't get this opportunity.

There's no reason to suggest that he couldn't have reproduced RB's time...had he had the opportunity...

Honda need to sort themselves out - there are obviously some real duffers in prominant decision making positions in that team that need to get the boot.

JB is a fine driver who has, unfortunately, placed his faith in a team which talks a good fight, but absolutely cannot deliver.

Shame, it's doing JB's reputation no favours at all (judging from the misplaced critisism on this forum).

IMO of course.

Another eventful qualifying, Kimi once again proves he has what it takes if his car gives him half a chance. I picked up on Pat Symonds go out of his way to commend Kimi's lap rather than talk about Fernando's. I think there's something in that.

JPM again showing that he is a waste of space, and looks like he's potentially throw away his pitiful 8th place because he blocked DC. DC kindly let him through to do his hot lap, but further on JPM f**ks it up. DC then goes to re-pass and JPM gets the hump and tries to block and run DC off the road. I liked the old DC Nescafe Special he gestured for Montoya as he came in to the pits.

Actually, I'm sure I heard a rumour that if JPM was pulled up by the stewards one more time for his driving, they were going to revoke his license. I don't know if that was just for last year, or if the threat still applies to him.

Very impressed with BMW getting both cars into the top 10. I hope they do well tomorrow, as I have a lot of time for both drivers.

He has a mouth, he was looking at the timing screens, and knew how precarious his position was. He had enough time to insist that he went out again and didn't bother. And with the one lap he did do on new tyres he managed 16th. He's not doing the job at the moment, but admittedly neither is Honda as a team. They both f**ked up, IMO.

no penalty - no justice FIA make themselves look stupid yet again.

Actually I suspect DC is better off. at least now he can choose his fuel and the like.

I like JPM but it's about time he packed up and went home.

I like the fact he isn't an F1 robot. I just wish he would get his acto together and either drive consistently or piss off. He looked good in '03, when the title was a 4 way fight between him, Ralf (until Indy), Kimi, and Schumi. Ever since he's just been flaky.
