I recently drove to north west spain and back. I didn't really spend too much time planning the route just stuck a couple of way points into the sat nav and pressed go.

We had crossed the border near San Sebastian and were heading towards Burgos ended up on this stretch of road the AP-1.

It's motorway but tunnel after tunnel and through some amazing bit of countryside.

My only regret is that I was driving a VW Transporter towing a huge boat trailer. I would so like to drive that stretch of road with the S2000 and unlike our tunnels you could quite legally vtec through them all day.

 

you should try Madeira.its just tunnels. and there is one s2000 there
