Default Gtechniq

Well, I have been working with this company for nearly a year now and using pretty much all of their products. Been pretty impressed with their stuff in comparison to the competition. So much so, I have joined up with Gtechniq, gone through their training program and become an authorised detailer for the South East.
We will be running a monthly advertising campaign, starting off in Evo magazine to promote this product and push it more into the public domain. I feel their C1 Quartz Composite lacquer to be the best surface protection on the market and as such I have been pushing this for all of my regular maintenance contracts. One member on this forum already knows how good it is from his recent experiences at an event that went a little pear shaped.

Here is one of the flyers that is about to be published across the UK, this is the service package that we are promoting.

I'm sure it's amazing Lee, especially with you involved. But that's big money

I guess if you have a car worth £50k or over it won't seem that bad. But difficult to justify on a £5k S2000 (unfortunately, as I'd love to get you to detail my S if you weren't so far away)

Good luck with it

Don't suppose it makes paint stick any better to aluminium panels, does it?

If you think S2000s suffer from gravel rash...

I use all the products on my black Boxster and can honestly say they are the best sealants I have used. It seems strange not to apply wax polish any more, but after a wash, spray over with C2 and dry with a microfibre the car looks as good as new three months on.
As ever surface prep is crucial, the car has to be as perfect as possible before applying or you are just sealing in the defects, I use their anti hologram polish for the final finish before applying the sealant.

The only product I am not so happy with is the fabric coating which seems to work well on man made fibres but doesn't seal so well on the fabric Boxster roof, I am now using Fabsil.

Good luck with this, C1, C5 and the glass coating are genuinely great products which live up to there descriptions unlike most hyped up products on the market.

Thanks Shop, it is a good product although we prefer to call it a Quartz Composite Lacquer so it does not get confused with the crap such as Supagard.

Neil, £400 does not go all that far now days, its about three weeks worth of fuel for me
Anyway, I may well be up at the Megameet soon so sure there will be some opportunity to plug the new toys.

I had a treatment of this stuff last winter and it's excellent for a lazy toad like me who can't be bothered to spend hours washing my car.

The glass treatment is particularly good, even after 6 months I hardly need to use wipers when driving at speed.

A quick wash of the car takes 30 mins.

I'll definitely get it done again.

Just out of interest, how often do you need to get this done ?

Is it a once a year job ?

I am very much in the LG camp when it comes to washing cars.

I'm going to stick to once a year I think, that way it works out roughly the same as taking it to the local hand car wash each week.

Its will give you five years of protection as long as its maintained properly, from a dirt deflectant aspect I'd say just keep it toped up with C2 Liquid Crystal every once in a while, literally spray on wipe off. Fine on glass, trim, even paint.

I like the sound of that.
I see you have a sliding pricing scale depending on car size, what category is an Elise ? Small, medium or large ?
