Default Had the Evo Dyno'd

Being a true petrol heeed, I took the day off today to go get the car dyno'd at WRC Technology at Silverstone.

The car is an FQ300 and had it dyno'd at 305 bhp when it was standard.

I added the following:

Blitz Sonic intake
Magnex 3" downpipe & decat
Walbro fuel pump
Ecutek remap by bob Rawle...

Now I knew it felt a lot faster after the remap but the result was a little surprising! normally you would expect about 360 from a car with these mods, but in this case it got a bit more

386 bhp
368 lbs / ft

Or 293 bhp at the wheels.

Monster power! It could have got to 390 with a bit of work but happy with what I got.

I put this down to Bob the mapper - he is an amazing bloke with remaps!

Next step is a boost controller and i should be good for 400

I'm a fan of both...

Good results Mark!

Would that be a reliable 400bhp?

Im interested in an Evo when the house is sold and the wedding is out of the way. What sort of costs were involved to get your car to this level? (If I may be so bold as to ask!).

Good work.

Having been in Billy's I'm now considering an Evo X as my next car, assuming it reviews well.

Were you the pilot or the navigator?

Thanks all!

Get one Kenny

One thing im pleased about is that it was on WRC's dyno, as its know for its good setup, and they understand the right correction factors etc.
