Sounds like they've put a load of mods into the engine to make help them produce big power on the race engines, without actually upping the power significantly on the cars they are selling for homologation.
Yep, IIRC the Sierra RS500s had eight injectors so they could tune the race cars up to stupid bhp without breaking the rules but only four were connected up on the road car. I doubt that improved the driving experience much though

I am betting that the cost of kitting one would be something south of stupid.

Yes, I saw the second of the two episodes where she blew it up with pyro and a few gallons of 4-star.

Sacriledge, absolute thuggery of the highest order.

However, the Macca/Enzo piece went some way to redressing the balance last night - instead of hurling them round a track we actually saw what they're like, rather than what they can do. Tuff Noodles actually sounded like a proper presenter, and a man who loves his cars, if only they'd had more of that piece, and less of the biker's puffa jacket.....

[QUOTE=MarkB,Jul 25 2006, 08:27 AM]I thought it looked incredibly ordinary.

Perhaps it looks better in Ferrari red, but to me, from the front it could have been Japanese.
