I doubt that any information connected to the phone number is real. None of the information on eBay will be real either. You need to speak to eBay properly, not email, there is a phone number on the website. Keep on talking to your bank, and your local Police too.

I would also email the Metropolitan Police Fraud Team (it might help, it might not...worth trying):

Few things starting to add up. Unless the guy has had his information stolen and a really clever chappie has used someone elses identity. Mr Ostrowski could well be your man.

 

London phone number and bank account in Watford?

I think it more likely to be a case of stolen identity.

 

Location of the bank account is irrelevant, my Branch of RBS is in London and I live in Inverness. Did the OP phone the 0207 number and ever get an answer?
