Hadn't heard about this yet - a sad and harsh reminder at how dangerous the sport is.

My thoughts are with his family - and before anybody comments, no I didn't know him personally but there's a huge element of "there by the grace of god go i" about it especially as I'm at Brands on Tuesday testing and racing in a couple of weeks, and I'm sure there are others here who frequent the track.

Watched the race earlier - I shouldn't think he even saw that tyre coming, he was so unlucky - you couldn't have hit him with it if you'd been trying

A timely reminder. I received my race license today.
RIP, a tragic waste in an accident that has such little odds of occurring. The irony that his father was world champion when the sport was much much more dangerous.

I was watching some of that today. They red flagged the race because it rained and they were all on slicks, then started again and red flagged it again after two cars went off. I switched over at that point.

Very sad. I guess we all assume that racing drivers don't get killed these days.

That is very sad news. We all know motorsport can be dangerous and the drivers live with that every day, but it still takes you aback when someone is killed

A promising driver, one of the young drivers that looked like he had true talent.

Sad news.
