I cleaned the beater !
Today I cleaned my beater for the first time in the two years I have owned it.
It has been throught the car was a few times but today I washed, claybarred and waxed it.
Was very happy with how clean it came... shame I didnt have any before photos.
Spent about 2.5 hours cleaning and it It rained about 10 mins after I finished.

Sounds good to me.... forgot to mention my brother is the head of automotive for a large car cleaning products company. I have access to any waxes/products I want... I think he just wish I was more into detailing.... he was shocked to find out the wax I used when doing the car above was over a year out of date !

I think that disqualifies it from being called a beater now
Re the Wax use by date, I was shocked to see it there, it was a liquid wax so no idea what other things they have mixed it with. Maybe it just starts to separate after a certain date
