I have been toying with the idea of selling my car after the summer had finished basically since i bought it.
I love the S dont get me wrong it is the best car i have owned and doubt for raw racing passion i will have to wait till my 1st Ferrari (my opinion) till i feel that sort of adreneline pump in a car.

I have had my car up for sale for a couple off weeks and i had an original offer on trade in of 13k for it i thought i could make alittle more and get the cash to play with by selling it while a car was sourced for. i should find out tomorrow night if it will be the one or not.

My final choice was made today on some great advice from my father.

2002 BMW M3 convertible (with hardtop) with Black leather, manual, 30k on the clock, 19" m3 alloys and TV/satnav. ......... now my favourite part! the colour!!, i wanted this colour on an M3 if i got one the moment i saw an m3 in this finish i had to have one and i am even more excited about getting this car because of the colour..............

You either love it or F**king detest it.............

Pheonix Yellow. it looks like puke to some and i realise this but makes me happy
to me its awesome.

Now i would like some help/feedback on this change of car!!
Will i miss any s2k noise?? or the BMW make up for it??
Is there a specific M3 site i should check out??
Have any off you done this change and realise my reasons for change??

the m3 sounds loads better than the s2k as standard, you'll love it

check out bm3w.co.uk, thats a really good site with plenty of info on there, they do some track days and i've been to the odd meet

look forward to the price of tyres and servicing but have fun drifting it about as they are loads easier to control than the s2k

two things though

1. make sure you use your indicators or else i'll ram you

2. be very carefull what oil you put in it and keep a constant eye on it as they have had known bottom end problems, there was a recall a bit ago for it on certain cars

Personally I think the M3's/5's sound like a silenced vacuum cleaner and far too refined, no where near as raw as the S, but that's just my personal opinion.
