He has also done the IAM exam.

Him and his colleagues regularly take the pi55 out of the IAM lot as people who are all trousers and no action.

IMO though if you enjoy driving, like to learn something new and actually see an improvement in your driving then it's well worth taking a course.

Have a day on a skid pan.

2 hours of driving like a loon at 30mph!

Taught me a lot anyway.

Erm.. Roadcraft no longer has push-pull... and as that is what the test is based on I don't think they teach it any more.

Last Ridedrive I did the instructor mentioned that rotational steering is now in Roadcraft.

The guy said to me 'Who cares how you recover - do what ever is best and are most comfortable with'

That was when one of the other guys questioned my no hand steering approach btw!
