Still no pics I'm afraid - might have to wait for the weekend for that.

I've managed to get it into the garage (just) and then levered myself out of the car with the aid of gymnastics and spinal injuries.
Only to have to repeat the execise 'cause I'd left my phone and sunglasses in the car.

They don't make a convertible Z06 - I've just got a 6.0 V8 with 400-ish bhp and 400-ish ft/lb torque.

It's a big car, but you can see the wings and the mirrors are good, so it's easy to position on the road. So far overtaking on single carriageways hasn't been that scary either - yet to try a B road though.

The head up display is excellent, replicates the S2000 dash in some ways - I always liked the digital speedo.

Roof is more complicated and so slower than on the S, but has better sound insulation.

Changing gear with the wrong hand is going to require some practice.

Keyless entry system is a nice touch

Small roundabouts feel strange as you're further away from the apex, so the cornering force feels greater.

Hardly any miles on the engine yet so I'm only using 2-3K revs, even so, the car just picks up and goes. In fact it's got so much in 1st Gear I've started to use 2nd for pulling away in traffic to avoid launching into the back of other cars.
Grip is excellent, there's no twitching about on wet roundabouts at all.

At last! I remember looking at the brochure enviously at Donny in the summer, it seems so long ago now!

Another echo to the "get some pics" noise here - hopefully see it in the metal (plastic?) at LM this year too....
