I've been Tango'd again!
The last time Lee detailed my car it looked great, but that was last year and since then my 'helpful' independant washed the car when asked not too.
however the car was still looking good but i kept noticing the damage they had done
so Lee came over this saturday and got to work.
he washed it and then clayed it.
after that i had to go out for about 2 hours.
when i got back the car looked amazing but he said he still had a few processes to go through.
i then watched my boys demolish arsenal and came back to see how he was getting on.
i had time to wash and wax (collonite) Nancy's car before he finished.
Lee detailed Nancy's S a couple of months ago and since then it has been been driven through muddy roads, round tracks and on seriously rainy and snowy days.
despite that it only takes a quick wash and top up wax to get it looking seriously good.
i didnt take any pictures this time,(my efforts last time were seriously not worth it!) but i know Lee did. hopefully he wont be too shy to post them up.
the car's are both looking good, ready for their trip to the airfield tomorrow on the car limits driving day.
cheers Lee really appreciate your hard work and i'm sorry i wasn't able to help like i wanted to but work (and football) called!
One gripe, Lee, you really need to admit it when something looks good!
the way it shone in the sun attracted a group of people over to us while lee was taking photo's.
if that's not a thumbs up, what is?

Pics?
When I got to Bachi's a sad sight met me
Then after some careful washing and drying a closeup with the magic eye to work out what I would had to tackle.
I then took a reading where I knew there would be the least clearcoat before moving onto the remainder of the car reading being between 100 and 200 microns so building up a picture in my head of what needed to be done.
Then it was time to work the paint with the rotary, here I am using VC pads so I can work a small area without going over the crease.
After removing the swirls and rounding off any deep scratches I sealed the paintwork
Now some shots of the result, in total around eight hours of work on paintwork that is reknown to be hard.
Cheers for all the comments guys, just added another picture of me in action working one of the most scary parts of the car, the wing. Here the paint can be thin where you have sharp angles.
Unfortunately for Bachi I didn't have my new Paint Thickness Guage. The new one will measure paint on plastics and stores all the readings ready for me to produce a report on the condition of the paint. Its useful for when you are doing plastic cars like TVR's and Lotus's or even 360's
