Just seen the new F type in the metal whilst going to Tarporley. Looks absolutely sublime - especially in white!!

I went round the Jaguar factory on Tuesday and watched an F type being built, very good and interesting day out

The car in the picture is a 5.0 supercharged V8, 500bhp (maybe a bit more, can't remember exact) 0-60 4.8, starting at £79000 but the one I added some options to came out at £97000.

 

Have you bought one?!

 

They are just too expensive IMO.

Beautiful car though...but for the same money, its kinda Aston money...

These things look and sound great, was the one you saw driving about? Might have been a press car or from the plant near Liverpool?

 

Wasn't sure about the sound as it was in traffic. It didn't have any markings or adverts on it so could well have been some lucky bugger's new motor?!

 

I thought they were aimed at beating a Cayman S but at those prices its clearly competing squarely with a 911 S.
Would be interesting to see one in the flesh, but would you have the Jag over a 911 or Aston or ?
Not sure what else is in that price bracket

I applaud them for making a good stab at a nice sports car
