The pics are of a manual - I do hope Daniel Craig has learned how to use a clutch by the time he has to drive it!

They've actually made 6 of them. We've just fitted the paint booth in the prototype shop at Gaydon where they built them. we had a few problems getting the booth to run properly and apparantly it came close to making them late finishing the cars for filming.

Lower do you work for AM then?

If so any chance of a wander around the factory as they are my absolute fave car manufacturer?

Pretty please?

unfortunately not. My company makes automotive paint spray booths. We are a supplier to aston martin and just happened to be installing one at the time the bond cars were being built.

In fact 2 of my engineers are in there today. All the work we do at aston martin seems to take longer than it should for some reason........

Not bad,

but if you close your eyes slightly it could be a hatchback version of the s2000 with a hole in the bonnet!

Or is it just me?

The DBS isn't just Bond's car. I think they're making it for sale to the public too.

(without the rocket launchers )

How come they all look exactly the same, perform the same, and have the same engine? The only thing I can tell from one aston to another is the name and the vastly differing price tags...
